Recap: It’s A…

Happy Friday!

Per usual, life is a roller coaster, but I’m still on a high from yesterday, so I’ve completely forgotten about my struggles through the week. Well, not forgotten, but suddenly they don’t feel so important because, for a moment, everything felt like it was going to be okay.

Will and I finally got the chance to go out and spend the day together on Monday. We had some apartment hunting to do so we headed to Milford. Once our hunting was done, I convinced Will to talk around downtown.

The weather was SO nice and it literally felt like a perfect morning. I can’t wait for the day that we can take our little one for walks through Milford and then to play at the park!

After walking through the shops, we stopped at The Burger Joint for lunch. I wasn’t super hungry, but Will was dying for a burger and he and I haven’t had a chance to sit down and eat together for quite a while.

I was glad we stopped though! It wasn’t a healthy meal, but it was so yummy! I didn’t eat much, but what I did eat was so worth it!

I won’t even go into the bad news from this week because I don’t want to give it my attention any longer, but the good news is, I’ll be down to one job in less than 3 weeks! I put in a notice at job #1 because job #2 is looking promising in terms of money and hours. I’ll be so happy to finally have a little more time in my life.

And, Will and I finally got the happiest news all week…

boy

It’s a BOY! I definitely dreamed of a little girl first, but I am so excited! Since my “sign from the universe” that I had well over a month ago, I just knew we were going to have a boy. Will and I had our minds set for a while now. And my symptoms definitely added up to a boy. Those Old Wive’s Tales were right! I want to do a different post on all that later just for fun, so look out for it! I find that stuff so interesting!

Thanks for reading and joining me on this journey!
