I’ve been talking a lot about my book, but here’s the introduction, so it can give you an idea of what you’re getting:
Relationships are hard to begin with – for anybody – but if you suffer from anxiety, it can make it feel nearly impossible. This, my friends, is relationship anxiety. Relationship anxiety can be caused by a myriad of things, most likely from your past, like unhealthy relationships or a toxic upbringing. The deep-rooted reasons are ingrained in who you are and dealing with the toxicity can only be done through therapy or counseling with a licensed professional, which I am not. Please do not simply rely on this eBook. I encourage you to also seek professional help, as I have. The Relationship Bible for Anxiety is just a tool to use along the way.
I’ve suffered from relationship anxiety for years now. I have done research, I have been to a counselor, and I have taken every piece of advice I’ve heard regarding every anxiety-triggering situation and have applied it to my life. I’ll never be perfect because, one, I’m human, and two, I have anxiety and probably always will, but I have come a long way. I now have the tools I need to work on myself and create the happiest, healthiest relationship I possibly can.
Now, I’m here to share everything I’ve learned!
There are five things that I have found are the most important to work on when soothing your relationship anxiety for you and your partner, because remember, your partner has to deal with it as well, and it can’t be easy.
Those five things are communication, independence, respect, trust/honesty, and self-love. But, in each chapter, I’ll also be covering a lot of specifics like jealousy, clinginess, overthinking, the need to control, and the ways of men (all those things that we just don’t understand about them!) It will open your eyes, I swear.
You will find that a lot of points and concepts repeat throughout the book. This book is meant to be a guidebook that you can continually refer back to whenever you find yourself getting anxious about a topic that I cover. Each chapter and tip will include everything that I deem necessary for that topic whether I have already talked about it or not. Enjoy!
