Guess who forgot photos all week! This girl!
But, I’m still determined to make this recap happen!
I’ll throw back to last Saturday. I am SO happy to back to work! My life has gotten easier, and my anxiety has lessened since I left my old location. I am so thankful for this change in my life. I was originally supposed to pull a 9-5, but they have their shit so together at my new location that there was nothing left to do, so I was able to head home at 3!
I spent my evening blogging and editing my next book. This is the first official cover reveal, and I am so excited to publish this book! I haven’t decided on a date, but it’ll be out this year! You can check out my work here!
Young, adventurous Katie Tomlin has worked for the United Angels Organization for the past three years. She’s lived all over the world with her team, working to enhance impoverished communities. Her team has finally been stationed in Jamaica; the place she has only dreamed about since she was hired. Her first night in the beautiful, cultured country, she stumbles upon a quiet, intimidating local; Cameron, and she can’t seem to get him out of her mind. She quickly learns that he is an active member of the Diabolos – the most dangerous, active gang in the country known for its murderous actions and its involvement in a drug war that has lasted for decades. Katie is warned by many to stay away from Cam, but when she learns that his nephew attends the school she now works at, she realizes that will be much harder than she ever expected. It seems at every attempt to stay away from Cam, she is only drawn in closer. Now, Katie must decide if risking her own life by trusting this man is worth a shot at an irresistible, breath-taking, life-changing kind of love.
I had Sharon in my lap the entire time, and she was so content. Every time I would try to pet her or move her so I could get up, she’d bite.
To be 100% honest, Sunday was a total waste. I wasn’t feeling well, and I was unmotivated and cranky. I just wasn’t feeling like myself at all!
Unfortunately, the weirdness kind of rolled into Monday, too. I was pretty off all morning, and my anxiety hit pretty hard. It went on and off all day.
I stayed at work until 7 PM and then had to be back at 7 the next morning. I actually almost called in on Tuesday. I felt like absolute crap! I’ve been dealing with a lot of headaches and nausea this past week, but eating helps.
I made a pitstop at Starbucks before work and grabbed a breakfast sandwich and a hot chocolate. I had about half of both and then tossed them, but eating did help again. And then, I really don’t remember what I did the rest of my day, and I forgot to make notes!
Wednesday is when the exhaustion started! We had a special project at work, so I had to go in at midnight that night. But, I spent all day working at home and then tried to get a few hours of sleep before going in. I got about 20 minutes of sleep and then gave up…
I worked all night from midnight to 7:30 AM. I felt exhausted and nauseous at work all night, but overall it went really well. By the time I got home, I was passed tired and got a burst of energy, so I jumped into work for about 2 and a half hours.
I planned on getting more done, but I had plans later Thursday night, so I knew I’d have to get some sleep before then. It took me until about one to finally pass out. Then, OF COURSE, the dogs went crazy around four and woke me up. Then, wide awake again! I still have no idea why. I worked until the evening before getting ready and heading out with a friend. Going out last night was exactly what I needed! I finally got to crawl into bed around two and passed out until 10 this morning. I really needed to catch up on my sleep, and I feel so much better now that I did.
One last thing! I’ve recently joined up with Civion, an online jewelry and accessories store and I am so excited because they have the CUTEST stuff! I was just telling my mom recently that I needed a jewelry shopping spree, and the suddenly Civion found me!
A few of my favorite products are the anchor bracelet, the feather necklace, the arrow ring, and the semicolon ring! I ordered them all, and they should be here soon! As soon as I get them, I’ll post photos!
Also, my readers can use my code HARLEY25 for 25% off their entire order!
Check it out and let me know what your favorite pieces are!
Have a great weekend!
